SEE OUR OPEN POSITIONSOur Associates
If you’re wondering what it’s like to work at Shure, your best resources are Shure Associates themselves. In these short videos, a diverse group of Associates from various teams—including engineering, customer service, and administration—share their experience of the company, and what keeps them here.
Our Locations
While Shure offers flexible work arrangements, many of our Associates choose to spend time in our beautifully designed offices. With 35+ locations spanning the globe – from London to Hong Kong to Chicago – our innovative offices create a welcoming atmosphere for our Associates and keep us closer to our customers and partners. Many of these spaces have been designed by world renowned architects to ensure we have well-designed workplaces that are a good representation of our brand and allow Associates to work comfortably and efficiently. In fact, the Shure Corporate Headquarters in Niles, Illinois, recently was named as a “Coolest Offices Award Winner” by Crain’s Chicago Business.

Diversity & Inclusion
Shure is committed to creating a work environment that allows every Associate to be their authentic self. We believe it’s the people, not our products, that make us successful. Every story of every Associate has left a unique imprint on each product that bears the Shure name. We honor the diversity of our teams through global awareness celebrations, International Food Days, Associate Resource Groups, and mentorship programs that are designed to promote pride and togetherness at every level.

Culture
Take The Stage
The music culture at Shure is truly unique. Associate musicians practice and perform rock, jazz, classical, and other genres onsite for their peers, using our products firsthand and inspiring everyone involved.
Giving Back
Being a good corporate citizen, neighbor, and employer is one of the Core Values by which we work and live. Teams of Shure Associates volunteer with Chicagoland community organizations all year long.
Industry Leader Visits
In partnership with the GRAMMY Foundation’s Producers & Engineers Wing, Shure hosts intimate interviews with renowned music producers and sound engineers. Associates are invited to attend these evening events.
Endorser Performances
Many of the biggest names in live performance are Shure artist endorsers, proudly using Shure gear. When they’re on tour, they stop by to perform for Associates in the S.N. Shure Theater.
Rock and Jock
Have fun while meeting Shure Associates from across the organization when you play together on after-work sports teams. All ability levels are welcome, from heavy-hitters to beginners.

Internships
Shure summer internships provide real-world work experience for students as well as a foot in the door for our entry-level positions. Interns earn a competitive salary and are given ownership of meaningful projects that allow them to see the results of their hard work by the time they leave. During the program, managers and directors provide department overviews to help interns better understand the organization as a whole. Additionally, regular team-building events and fun outings give interns the opportunity to socialize and enjoy Chicago. At the end of the summer, interns present their projects to an audience of Shure Associates.
The best way to learn what it’s like to intern at Shure is to let our interns tell you themselves. To read about the experiences of recent interns, check out our blog post.
Our talent acquisition team visits select college campuses in the fall, but we welcome applications from all colleges and universities. Typically, we are looking for students who have completed at least two years of their undergraduate program and have previous internship experience. If you’re a musician with knowledge of Shure products, be sure to indicate this in your application. It’s not required, but it does give you an edge.
